FINAL CUT

It's so exciting to see the finishing touches of our film.
Our team has worked so hard on the 1-4 ARB project and it really shows.
I can't wait to see what the other teams have put together.
This was a great experience and I was lucky enough to work with smart individuals.
I am thankful for being a part of this project.
Also, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their families!

Video Presentation

Despite our team leaders MacBook being destroyed, we were still able to show our video to the class. It's not complete but already runs at 6 minutes. It was great hearing the classes feedback and most of it was positive. I'm impressed of what we have now and the finishing touches will be awesome! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Thanksgiving. :]

Successss Yessss

Yesterday, I finally saw each team members contribution to our group. It was nice to see everyones work come together. I have high hopes for the rest of our videos outcome. The infamous Bennett's came and spoke to our class again. If I didn't see my teams wonderful progress prior, I would have shaken in my boots. It's running together smoothly as I predicted. We have a powerful group and I'm lucky to be working with these intelligent ladies.
Here are some photographs that I played around with for our video:

Photo Fun

Lately I've been bumping into strangers and asking them to share a few words with me about our troops. Overall it's been positive and beneficial for our video. You would be surprised how many people love the camera. It's all looking grand from here.

1st Day of Filming

Last night we officially began our project!

So you have an idea of who we are, we each filmed brief introductions....Those will be available to watch on our main blog, I will post the link as soon as they are posted.

Overall, I think our intros were pretty good, they were a bit rough, but definitely grasped the whole "documentary" feel. The other groups seemed a bit more scripted, so we may redo ours....especially since some of our group members were less than happy with their appearance because they forgot that we would be filming that night.

Where is the project going from here?

Several of our group members will attend the FRG Steering Meeting/Committee this week. It will be a great time for us to interact with some of the families. Once we get a feel for the families, it should be easy for us to decide which direction we should go with this film. We already have a few tricks up our sleeve and once we combine them with our family footage, we will definitely have a film to remember!

Below you will find some pictures from last nights "shooting session"
